Jill Escher
President
Jill Escher is an autism research philanthropist and president of the Escher Fund for Autism, which funds scientific research on the causes of autism. She is a real estate investor who provides low-income housing for adults with developmental disabilities. A former lawyer, she is the mother of two children with nonverbal autism and the past president of the Autism Society San Francisco Bay Area. Jill's advocacy focuses on the urgent need for research into the biological mechanisms driving autism, particularly in individuals with severe impairments.
