Mark Kendall, State Chair of the California Chapter of NCSA, lives in southern California and is the father of a 21-year-old daughter with severe autism. A graduate of UC Riverside, he is a former journalist whose work has appeared in the Los Angeles Times, The Press-Enterprise and other publications. After 20 years in higher education, most recently as chief communications officer at Pomona College, he has launched into new endeavors, taking on additional caregiving and volunteer/advocacy work.
