Board Member

Shaji Haq, PhD, serves as Director of Severe Behavior Services at Easterseals Southern California, where he oversees clinical programming for individuals with autism and related disabilities whose challenging behaviors — including aggression, self-injury, and property destruction — place them at highest risk of institutional placement or service exclusion. His work sits at the intersection of clinical rigor and systems advocacy: ensuring that the individuals most likely to be turned away receive the most intensive and competent support available. Dr. Haq brings to the NCSA board direct expertise in the behavioral and programmatic infrastructure that makes community living possible for people with severe and profound autism.
